The assessment included a comprehensive kinetic testing program and development of several hydro-geochemical predictive water quality models in response to specific comments related to the Hume Coal Environmental Impact Statement (EIS).

RGS was engaged by LXML to undertake an environmental evaluation of potential residual and cumulative impacts from a proposed ion exchange (IX) water treatment process that was being considered by LXML for a copper tailings dam to allow the excess water balance to be reduced.
